The Spooky World of Halloween Pumpkin Dioramas (Second Edition)

Last year, I did a post on Halloween pumpkin dioramas that has caused as much of a sensation on my blog and continues to do so. So I decided to do another post despite having a hard time finding unique pumpkin dioramas like these posted above. And I used all of them in last year’s post. When I discussed the idea of pumpkin dioramas with my mother, she seemed to imagine the pumpkin being part of the display. So she was surprised when she saw the dioramas in the pumpkin whether they come from a pumpkin patch or a craft store. And many of them do have a lot of scary Halloween stuff. But once in a while you might find pumpkin dioramas like these which revolve around polar regions, fairy gardens, and space. Some pumpkin dioramas revolve around Thanksgiving but we’re getting ahead of ourselves. So for your reading pleasure, I give you another treasure trove of these Halloween pumpkin creations.

How about a some campfire music with old friends?

Sure they may not want to get out of their graves at the moment. But the music can go straight to their bones or wake the dead.

2. Things have been a little dead lately in the big house.

And here they are gambling behind bars. Seem to have no bones about it.

3. Seems like this graveyard has seen better days.

Guess somebody hasn’t tended this cemetery in years. As I can tell by the weeds.

4. Hope you don’t have to stay in this haunted house.

The house lights up from the inside if you get my drift. Seems like a skeleton answers the door.

5. Just because the house is small doesn’t mean it’s not haunted.

Well, this house is a paper cut out. Yet, I do love how they used moss and trees for the scary decor.

6. Sometimes these old houses could take their secrets to the grave.

Yes, I know it’s not painted black for a night scene on the inside. Yet, it nevertheless seems all the more eerie.

7. Don’t mind these skeletons hanging out on the graveyard shift.

“So I said to her, ‘Look, we’re not getting any younger. At least I you still have your skin while I’m practically decomposing.'”

8. Hope your pumpkin graveyard includes a scary tree.

And I don’t mean one of those Ents from Lord of the Rings. Unless you want to do a Lord of the Rings pumpkin diorama, which this is not.

9. Seems like we have a light from the ground here.

It’s also part miniature garden as well with a carved top. Still, like the light.

10. Man, those skeletons sure know how to party.

But I often hear that they’re not a lively bunch. Though they really seem to have a dead good time.

11. When you see a large skull at night, you’ll be in for a fright.

Now this one is quite menacing. Really like how the one skeleton rises out of the ground and the white trees. That kid will surely need therapy.

12. Guess you can find lots of bats about this one.

This one seems to take a view from the sky with paper bats and branches inside. Amazing.

13. Open the door to this pumpkin and you’ll find a haunted house inside.

You’ll also find some pumpkins stacked like a snowman as well as bats on a lite tree. But that’s beside the point.

14. Sometimes people would want their pumpkins to contain the sights of nature.

However, they couldn’t include a scene of deer mating, fighting, getting shot but hunters, or being hit by cars as would you normally see during the fall. So they decided to go with a deer family scene instead.

15. This little pumpkin contains a real graveyard scene.

Well, it doesn’t use much. But you might not want to know who’s buried here. Or who’s decomposing.

16. Enter this graveyard if you dare.

Love how they painted the clouds in this one. Also like the large gate. Really eerie.

17. This barbecue is bound to be a graveyard smash.

“How about we cook ribs on the grill tonight?”
“Whose yours or mine? Cause I don’t have any meat on ’em.”

18. Here we come to Cinderella being let out from her pumpkin coach.

Well, that’s one way to put a pumpkin to good use. Not scary for Halloween, creative enough.

19. May your dreams come true with this Disney pumpkin diorama.

Once again, this also features Cinderella and her castle. Why was I not surprised?

20. Even foxes should know not to be alone in a graveyard at night.

Well, I think the fox touch is a bit clever since wildlife frequent cemeteries all the time. Hope it can get through the night.

21. How about a road of black trees into the sunset?

I guess the trees might be made from paper. But I love how they create an arch over the road so close together.

22. This skeleton is by himself with his bones.

Yes. he’s on a bench in his bones on a night like this. Hope he didn’t die waiting for anyone or anything.

23. This haunted house has really gone to the ghosts.

Well, you have bats around here, too but they seem more part of the scenery. But they’re the only living creature you’ll find here.

24. Fans of the Wizard of Oz would enjoy this pumpkin diorama of Emerald City.

Of course, I think the flying monkey scenes would’ve been more appropriate. Considering this is Halloween we’re talking about.

25. Using cotton is great for cobwebs and fog.

Well, this seems like a messy craft project made by a school child. Then again, it’s kind of supposed to be.

26. For a fighting mummy scene, an Egyptian scene is necessary.

And it seems these mummies are going at it with each other. Must be in a museum.

27. Seems like these skeletons are having a graveyard smash in the Old West.

Well, it’s kind of hard to make out what’s going on here. But I’m sure the figures are kind of undead.

28. Sometimes a graveyard might need to blend with its surroundings.

After all, having it a plain orange pumpkin doesn’t make it seem any more dead. Also, got to make room for those trees.

29. This skeleton really knows how to make an entrance.

Yes, they really seem to dig a stylish red motorcycle. Then again, it’s not like the moped could kill them since they’re dead already.

30. Ahoy, dead pirates on the high seas.

Seems like they came across some treasure, too. Too bad they may not be able to enjoy it.

31. It always seems a little dead at 1313.

Doesn’t seem like a lively place. Unless you’re a bat. Like the house and trees.

32. Need room for broom parking?

Well, outside broom parking anyway. Inside broom parking space is a closet. Like the spiderweb.

33. This place seems to have become a real ghost town.

Think of it as an Old West town but with skeletons. Why Tim Burton doesn’t make a western movie like this I have no idea.

34. It’s always eerie to see bats flying at the full moon.

Well, bats are kind of creepy if you ask me. Yet, wonder if there’s a pumpkin diorama with a Batman sign.

35. Seems like this pumpkin is under construction.

This one uses Playmobil figures. Must’ve been made for a kid so it would be less scary.

36. Behold the raven overlooking the unburied graves.

Odd, to have the skeletons all black like they’re decomposing. Nice to have a mausoleum, which you don’t see in a lot of grave yard scenes.

37. Now this makes a great cemetery entrance.

I’m sure most cemeteries don’t have skeleton entry archways. So enter if you dare.

38. These pumpkins always make nice abodes for fall fairies.

Both of them even have bats for added Halloween emphasis. Also like the gnomes.

39. You’ll never know what you’ll find on Halloween night.

These seem to have a more vintage look to them. Two have trick or treaters. One has a witch.

40. May you step up to know your fortune.

Seems like that’s an Evil Queen from Snow White in a yellow dress for this purpose. Love the border though.

41. Seems like we have plants spilling out this pumpkin.

Well, I said some of these are mini gardens. Not sure if it will be good after October though.

42. Not sure if I could hear the future from this fortune teller.

Like the spider web outfit on the skeleton. Very fitting for a haunted fortune teller.

43. Something must’ve awoken the dead during the night.

Then again, they could be early risers. Of course, it’s probably too late for me to say that.

44. Those who enjoy Harry Potter will enjoy these pumpkin dioramas.

One depicts Buckbeak at Hagrid’s Hut from the Prisoner of Azkaban. The other has Harry on his broom during a Quidditch match.

45. There’s nothing more adorable than a couple of raccoons.

Yes, these are cute inside your pumpkin. But they can be a terror in your trash bin.

46. Better rest in peace with this spooky town.

Yes, I know you see a lot of graveyard pumpkin dioramas. But it’s Halloween for God’s sake. So graveyard scenes are a thing.

47. Well, hope these ghosts can haunt to it.

This doesn’t seem that hard to do. And will surely not scare people. Like the ghosts.

48. Nothing makes a better pumpkin diorama like a tiger and a squirrel.

And the squirrel doesn’t seem to scale which makes it ideal prey for the tiger. Because, that’s nature.

49. Perhaps you may say he’s dead but not completely buried.

Now that looks pretty creepy, especially with the foliage. Love the crow on top. Or is that a raven?

50. This spidery pumpkin has no bones about it.

Well, it has plenty of bones about it inside. But that’s just an expression. Still, has spiders for extra creepiness.

The Haunted World of Halloween Village Houses

Last year, I did a post on the Christmas village houses which has a long tradition. But you might not know that some traditions that were used exclusively for one holiday could be applied to others. For instance, there aren’t just marshmallow peeps for Easter anymore. Still, other than profit margins, the idea of adapting the Christmas villages for Halloween kind of makes sense. After all, Halloween provides a great opportunity for a spooky village with haunted houses and other buildings. Besides, it’s a very popular holiday that people really get into. And yes, the same companies who sell Christmas village houses are also in the Halloween business. You’ll find not just haunted house collectibles, but also shops with Halloween sounding names, scary figures, and even a gazebo made of skeletons. Like their Christmas counterparts, these little Halloween towns can become very elaborate as well as a very expensive holiday hobby. Yet, like the Christmas villages, there are plenty of people who make their own haunted abodes for their miniature haunted neighborhoods in their home. So for your reading pleasure, I give you some Halloween houses and towns.

Feel free to check into the Bates Motel but you can never check out.

Wait until you meet Norman Bates, a clean cut young man who’s a real momma’s boy. Also tends to murder women in showers wearing women’s clothes.

2. A purple glitter house is a ghostly haven.

You may see how the ghosts are coming through the windows. Yet, one of them seems rather welcoming.

3. A haunted village always has to have a deadly backdrop.

You can see how this village has a coffin and tombstone behind it. Yes, someone must’ve had too much time on their hands.

4. Enter 936 if you dare.

This black one even lights up inside. And it even has some glittery spiders on it, too.

5. You’ll never know what’s haunted in this Wonderland.

These houses are a mishmash between Halloween and Alice in Wonderland. Then again, I don’t think Alice in Wonderland needs a Halloween rendition. Wonderland is creepy enough.

6. Not sure if this place is entirely abandoned.

Sure it may be covered in straw and have graves in the yard. But it’s lit from the inside.

7. So if this church is boarded up, why is it lit?

At least with Halloween village houses, you can make them look as decrepit as possible. Because haunted is the thing here.

8. Apparently, like Santa, these ghosts prefer to take the chimney way out.

Uh, aren’t ghosts supposed to be able to go through walls. Then again, chimney is fine.

9. This place is turning into a real ghost town.

After all, it’s full of ghosts who seem to love it hear. Love the purple lights from the buildings.

10. Sure it looks like a normal house, at first.

But notice how it has a black roof, orange from the inside, as well as a spider and skull on it. Very subtle and very spooky.

11. I’d be careful entering a black house with dangling shutters.

Notice how it’s lit from the windows. So don’t suppose you’ll be alone in there.

12. I’m afraid everything’s locked here.

Wonder if that ghost is lonely or just wants to be left alone. Love the clock though.

13. Black glitter and branches can always make homes especially scare worthy.

Helps if the light from the inside, too. Also if you add some trees that light up as well.

14. Those shutters don’t seemed hold on just right.

Yeah, they seem about to fall off from the windows. The giant spider is also a creepy touch.

15. Sometimes haunted houses can appear they have a life of their own.

This seems like a haunted neighborhood inspired by Dr. Seuss. The house on the left especially emphasizes my point.

16. Orange and black glitter always bring a Halloween shimmer.

Notice how the orange glitter brings out the cobwebs. Love the roof on this, too.

17. Imagine this spooky town on a high shelf.

Makes it seem that this Halloween town is set on a steep mountain. Seems kind of fitting if you look at it another way.

18. Did it just snow here?

Then again, it might just be a frost. But it’s hardly a place that sleeps.

19. Is that house smiling at me?

Well, it somehow seems to be with the banner. Yet, it’s also lit from the inside, too.

20. You might want to beware going near this boarded home.

Did I just see a witch on her broom? That’s not a good sign. Also there’s light coming from a window.

21. A home with a skull sign is a home to avoid.

Well, ain’t that the truth. This is especially show if there’s a bat on the front and a purple tree.

22. Apparently, whoever lives here doesn’t care for visitors.

Another haunted building that seems woefully decrepit. Sure it’s bad for neighbor property values. But it’s great for Halloween.

23. From this home, you might see some bats in the distance.

Sure bats may look scary. But they do eat a lot of good for us like eat pests. Also, there’s Batman.

24. Don’t know why the lights don’t go out at this place.

Then again, it might be a witch’s home she shares with ghosts. Yet, love the windows in this one.

25. As far as this skeletal abode is concerned, there are no bones about it.

Have to appreciate the sight of blood coming from the windows. This person must have a demented imagination.

26. Are you sure you’d want to trick or treat at a place like this?

I don’t know. I think kids might be advised to skip this one. Just have a bad feeling about it.

27. Who said a spooky town doesn’t have a nightlife?

Well, it sure seems to have a lot of great shops and many pedestrians. Like how it’s situated like a hill.

28. Enter this graveyard if you dare.

This was made from paper mache along with other materials. Like the tombstones here.

29. Sometimes a haunted house just needs all the right decorations.

I especially like how it’s situated on a platter like a haunted house on a hill. Also like the tree right beside it.

30. What’s that light coming from the house?

Maybe it’s just a light bulb. Then again, the windows seem to be lined with coffin liner from the inside.

31. For Halloween houses, you might want to have them near a tree of lights.

Each of these is decorated in its own way. There are even orange and black trees in the middle along with moss and rocks.

32. Sometimes all your house needs are cobwebs.

Since they can give the impression of desolation and abandonment. Also like the purple lights.

33. This little place appears slightly bent with the wind.

Well, it seems to be too small to be regular haunted house. Yet, too big to be an outhouse. Maybe it’s just a little cabin or something?

34. Sometimes you might see a haunted house come alive.

Now that does look pretty scary. Sure wouldn’t want to own a home like that.

35. Just because it’s in bright purple doesn’t mean it’s not haunted.

You might want to look at the top window that’s shaped like a skull. Yes, that’s pretty creepy.

36. Sometimes a haunted house just needs to have the right trimmings.

But at least it’s not totally abandoned. Just home to a witch, it turns out.

37. Looks like this place has been left to the bats.

Now this really does seem like an abandoned home you’d see on the road. Just has a very decrepit and unkempt look screaming low property values.

38. What’s that black stuff coming from the windows.

For all I know, it might be a place where teenagers shouldn’t hang out, especially if they’re the token black in the group. If you’re familiar with horror movies, you know where I’m getting at.

39. You might want to skip this place or avoid it entirely.

This has to be done by an artist. But it certainly seems like a house you’d see in a horror movie.

40. Sometimes green and purple is just as good as black and orange.

This home really seems Halloweened out. Has all the scary things like a witch and bats.

41. Seems like a hangout spot you’d find in the Village of the Damned.

Still, this isn’t a safe place for children. But I do love how this person used vintage Halloween kids for effect.

42. Sometimes a tower is a great addition.

Despite that a lot of homes don’t have one. Nor do they have more than 2 stories either.

43. Well, this seems to be a lively haunt in a fireplace.

Granted, it’s a small space. But I do like how it’s lit up and how the backdrop is used as a night sky.

44. Despite the light, everything’s boarded up.

Still, it seems like a glittering home you can see for miles. Like the tree on this, too.

45. Even the moon is disturbed by what’s going on here.

Another Seuss like structure in Halloween colors. The windows seem to tell an interesting story.

46. Nothing makes a Halloween house like a jack-o-lantern.

Sure it might not scare people. But this one has quite a menacing look.

47. Seems like this place has quite a spider infestation.

Now this should make some people freak out since arachnophobia isn’t an unusual thing. But in proportion, spiders aren’t usually that big.

48. Guess no one goes to this chapel anymore.

From the looks of it, it probably had a small congregation to begin with. The bats like it though.

49. Sometimes you can make great windows with mesh.

Well, they do give a rather creepy vibe on this one. Nevertheless, love how this house is shaped and the shutters.

50. For your potion needs, this is the place for you.

It’s a great place if you’re a witch with time constraints. Though sometimes it might be cheaper to brew your own.

51. There must be a good reason not to enter here.

This one seems like a rather normal house. But add a spider and some black trees and it’s a haunted home.

52. This place needs a lot of work done like repairs and maintenance.

Apparently, nobody has lived at this place for decades. May have a rather shady reputation.

53. Sometimes haunted buildings can come in outlandish colors.

These are certainly no exception. One of them even has green stuff coming from the chimney.

54. This house has really become a real crow’s nest.

It also has an odd shape to it. Well, at least one of the windows does, anyway.

55. Wonder what’s coming from those chimneys.

Now this one looks a bit similar to one of the other houses I just showed. Yet, it seems to be a Christmas cottage turned into a Halloween one. Not to mention, it seems more lively.

56. This ghost welcomes you to his bright orange abode.

Even has a pink roof and an orange tower. Not sure how that could exist in real life beyond Florida though.

57. For a more haunted mantle, branches are a must.

Well, along with the haunted houses. But that’s beside the point. Not sure how these don’t go over the edge.

58. Looks like the witch got stuck in the chimney again.

The green house seems to have a lovely glitter roof and door. Yet, the feet sticking out is quite funny.

59. The windows don’t seem set right on this house.

Well, the top windows, anyway. The shutters seem about to fall off as well. Also, the orange tree is rather freaky.

60. Don’t know why anyone would want to come near this place.

Not sure if that’s a ghost or a trick or treater. If the latter, then they should get out immediately.

61. For a haunted house, this seems to be a happening place.

Not sure if I’d want to send my kids trick or treating at a house with blood coming from the windows. That might be a bad sign.

62. Whoever lives here has an interesting way of decorating.

Seems to have skulls on the porch posts. Not sure if that will freak out the neighbors.

63. I don’t think you’ll like what you’ll discover here.

The walls seem a bit rusty and the wood a bit worn. Also, bats might live here as well.

64. This houses is a perfect place for a skeleton to rest his bones.

Nice that it has bloody windows and a coffin door. Yes, it’s in a similar style like one of the earlier houses. But that’s beside the point.

65. Don’t be scared. That’s just a bat and owl.

Haven’t seen a ghost yet. Also, that tree might look rather unusual without its leaves.

66. There’s an eerie essence to this interesting house. Or is it a church?

Well, it has a bell tower. Yet, there’s some weird green stuff near the door ways.

67. When there are ghosts and bats, it’s best to keep your distance.

Also helps if you see a skull and crossed bones as well as boards on a window. You may not leave there alive.

68. Nothing good can come from weird shape trees near a black glitter house.

This is especially true when the door is boarded up and there’s a jack-o-lantern. Might want think twice before entering.

69. Wonder what these skeletons are up to.

I’m sure this isn’t up to scale since the skeletons look bigger than the other figures. And they wouldn’t be normally.

70. Well, these ghosts seem rather hospitable.

Don’t mind that the board at the door says, “Do Not Enter.” Then again, you might want to keep that in mind.

71. A haunted village must always have a nice large lake.

Sure it might have dead bodies rising up from there once in a while. But you can say that about a lot of places in a Halloween town.

72. Sometimes a house is haunted when spiders take it over.

And this house seems like a haven for large spiders. Some of whom spin their webs here.

73. I guess this place is home to a witch.

To be honest, I kind of prefer the black glitter to the orange glitter. Bright orange can be worn by Penn DOT workers and shows up at night.

74. I think these trick or treaters might want to skip the house on the hill.

That house on top of the hill seems rather haunted. Maybe it’s best to skip it for their own good.

75. Even a skeleton can enjoy a boat ride once in a while.

This seems like a rather creative display. Reminds me of a little cove where people like to take their boats out.

76. You may not want to know what you can see in these windows.

Once again, someone must’ve used old photos for the entities lurking this house. Love the lace on the roof, too.

77. Seems like someone likes a bit of grave decoration.

I think this is supposed to resemble Jack Skellington’s house from the Nightmare Before Christmas. But I’m not sure.

78. Well, this cottage has a nice pumpkin collection.

I wouldn’t say patch since they’d have to be attached to vine. Love the brick work, too.

79. Sometimes a haunted house needs a few fancy touches.

Well, it sure has plenty of patterns on the roofs. Like the skull doorway. Very classy.

80. When it comes to haunted houses, you can fit some in a unique style.

These are in different patterns as you see here. Love the vampire’s one the best.

81. For a more witchy castle, go with neon green.

Sure it might be a tacky eyesore. But at least a witch will know where her house is.

82. Is that smoke or ghosts coming from that chimney?

At this time of year, it can go either way. Still, Love that tree near the house. So Dr. Seuss like.

83. For a more scary village, try a coffin shelf.

Well, that seems to work quite nicely. Hope you have slots to plug in the lights, though.

84. For some haunted houses, sometimes two towers are better than one.

Since you sometimes might want to go with symmetry. Though we’re just talking about roofs here.

85. In more urban places, you might come across this.

Seems like something people might see on their block. Minus the haunted element. But the windows are boarded just the same.

86. Really don’t want to know what’s coming from that door.

I know it’s a mysterious light. But the redness makes it seem so unnatural.

87. Is it really 3 or is the clock stuck there.

It’s probably the latter. Still, I love the wrought iron in this. Very ornate.

88. The tower on this house is covered with cobwebs.

The roof seems rather nice as well. Really captures the haunting mood of the house.

89. This abandoned tower is a hooting home for owls.

Once again, I’m not sure why such structures seem to exist here. They seem to defy all logical explanation.

90. I’m sure this property has been condemned for a long time.

This one seems to have all kinds of things wrong with it. There are cobwebs on the roof and boards on the doors and windows.

91. When it doubt, it helps to start small.

This one has a black cat inside as well as a pumpkin on the chimney. Not sure about the snow though.

92. There’s nothing safe about this silver house.

This is especially so when it seems abandoned and has a skull and crossed bones on it. That can’t be good.

93. You might want to be wary of the green light.

Because it might mean ghosts, something radioactive, or both. Not sure which is worse.

94. Sometimes a witch prefers a black house.

Now that’s more like it. Orange works better as an accent color anyway. Love the wreaths.

95. Enter this small cottage at your own risk.

If you think only mansions are haunted, you might be mistaken. You may never know what’s in a small house.

96. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt to add a dash of whimsy.

Sure these homes look more cute than haunted. But a few of them have their share of bats.

97. Sometimes a haunted house doesn’t need to be fancy.

This one mainly has cobwebs on the roof and a few boards. Really sets the mood.

98. I’m sure these skulls will be accommodating.

You can see the vintage imagery on this card. Like the trees on this, too.

99. This might be a simple cottage but you might want to think that over.

Well, it seems rather normal enough. But there’s something about it that seems off for some reason. Don’t know what.

100. Sometimes you’ll never know whether a place is haunted until it’s too late.

This one is very nicely done. Seems like an abandoned cottage but a face in the chimney can stick with you.

The Creepy, Crawly World of Scary Halloween Craft Projects (Second Edition)

Of course, Halloween is a very popular holiday which people really get into. You can see this by how so many stores sell Halloween decorations around this time in October. But there are so many who like to make their own as I’ve seen on Pinterest. Last year, I did a post on Halloween crafts which people have done. And I got so many photos from Pinterest that I couldn’t possibly have used them all. I mean there are so many ideas people do for a holiday that’s only surpassed by Christmas in terms of popularity. Well, even that’s kind of contested. Nevertheless, if you plan to throw a spooky Halloween party or just like to scare people on your lawn, then you’re in luck. Because I plan to show you more craft ideas that you might want to see. So feel free to look if you dare.

Ever get the feeling you’re being watched?

Relax, someone probably darkened the portrait and put it into a blackened old style frame. It’s kind of suited for a haunted house.

2. Did that cauldron just get legs?

Guess it must be under a spell. Or someone’s DIY Halloween decoration. The latter is more likely. Either way, it’s brilliant.

3. Grace your front door this Halloween with a raven grapevine wreath like this.

Or crow wreath if you want to get specific. Still, best if the wreath and the birds match in color.

4. Use this mummy doll on your door of you don’t want any disturbance.

Well, that’s more cute than scary. Still, if it’s a mummy, then why does it have a tie on? And does this make the mummy a daddy?

5. No Halloween dish table is complete if it’s not made from bones.

Actually, it’s made from paper mache. But it almost looks real doesn’t it? Might want to discuss this with the neighbors.

6. All guests are welcome at Mummy’s Bed and Breakfast.

Just come on down to toot and come in. And don’t mind the walking bandaged people.

7. A Halloween bauble wreath always has to be black and orange.

This one has it in stripes and beads. Not sure if black and orange go together like that though.

8. A black feather wreath has to include a few pumpkins.

While many Muppet fans prefer to buy their own merchandise, there are plenty of others who’d rather make their own. After all, the Muppets does have a lot of cute characters as well as cater to all ages. I mean many of these crafts are made for kids like knitted stuff toys and such. Some of them can even be decorations for parties. Of course, this crafty cover of Miss Piggy with pruning shears is a parody of Martha Stewart Living magazine. And you see how she has a shrub into a dollar sign. Yeah, you don’t see a lot of crafting on Muppets unless it pertains to creating lab concoction disasters, anything the blows up, or just to create a moment of slapstick. Because they usually aim toward comedy. Yet, I have found a lot of craft projects on Pinterest and Etsy as well as Google Images. Like I have for a lot of craft projects from several different franchises. So here I give you a treasure trove of Muppet crafts you might want make for yourself and treasure forever.

Any child would have hours of fun with these Sesame Street blocks.

Includes Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar, Ernie, and the Count. And they’re in all different colors. So cute.

Each drawer has a different Sesame Street character. And it seems that Oscar the Grouch is on the top.

The Nesting World of Matryoshka Dolls

One of the more popular dolls around the world are Russian matryoshka dolls which is a set of wooden dolls that have one doll inside another and so on and so forth. The name “matryoshka” meaning “little matron” and is a diminutive form of the Russian girls’ name “Matryona” or “Matriosha.” Outside Russia, these are known as nesting dolls. Anyway, the original nesting doll set was carved in 1890 by Vasily Petrovich Zvyozdochkin and designed by folk crafts painter Sergey Vasilyevich Malyutin in Abramstevo. These men were inspired by a doll from Japan’s Honsu which may have been a hollow daruma doll of a Buddhist monk or a Seven Lucky Gods nesting doll. So it’s possible the popular doll sets associated with Russian arts and crafts could’ve had roots in Japan.Traditionally, the outer layer is a woman in Russian peasant garb but the figures inside can be of either gender. The smallest, innermost doll is usually a baby carved from a single piece of wood. A lot of the artistry is used in the painting of each doll which can be very elaborate. And each nesting doll set often follows a theme which can range from fairy tale characters, holiday decorations, and even Soviet leaders. As September rolls in, fall will soon be in the air. And when it comes to fall decorations, there’s almost nothing to beat than the scarecrow. Two years ago, I did a scarecrow post which got really popular around this time of year so I decided to do another one. Still, contrary to the name, most scarecrows aren’t really that scary. Besides, using a scarecrow to ward off crows isn’t going to help rid them from your garden. I mean crows are very smart birds and probably know that the figure in your plot is just a guy full of straw. But not always. So they probably won’t be scared of it. Nevertheless, people love them so much that there are even contests for them at fall festivals and even one post can’t show the amount of creativity you might see in these things. Many of these have straw but they don’t always have to. And a lot of them are dressed in old clothes. So for your reading pleasure, I give you another glimpse into the wonderful world of scarecrows.

Look, it’s none other than Gandalf the Straw-Haired.

The wizard beard is a stroke of genius. Also like the flower eyes and carrot nose. But you wonder why they don’t have scarecrows like that in the Shire.

Yes, these scarecrows are definitely hanging there. Guess they have all night party hijinks, too. Figures.

3. Didn’t expect to see a fairy princess around here.

This one has a little purple dress and pink hair. But her crown and wand are twigs.

But the guy gets the ride while the woman has to push him around. Love the flower hat though.

6. It’s widely noted that they call her the Iron Lady since she comes off a little stiff.

Well, she’s made with an ironing board. But yes, she seems a bit flat and stiff.

Seems like whoever made this has kids who are no longer toddlers. Well, at least they used it for something like this. Very clever.

However, that dog is kind of freaky looking to me. So is the vet’s pumpkin head.

Well, a sunflower head, anyway. Still, seems to make everything seem sunny even in patched overalls.

He should be out trying to scare crows off. But he’s just taking a snooze. Lazy bum.

Since she has a dress made from corn stalks as well as decked in full fall regalia. Kind of wish she was in an outdoor setting though.

Well, her head consists of wheat. Yet, she’s almost entirely made from straw. Guess she sometimes makes it hay.

She’s just sitting on the bench. Too bad she has straw in her boots. Then again, she’s a scarecrow.

Well, she’s wearing a ladybug dress. But that was what her name was on Pinterest so I’m going with that.

Well, that’s one way you can reuse an old busted truck. Like the scarecrow pumpkin mechanics the best though.

Then again, it might for some of the crows. But this is a really creative, especially with having the scarecrow being upside down.

Well, they’re Angry Birds as hay bales. Basically consists of spray-paint and straw. Fans will love it.

Looks like these guys are having a good time. Wonder if any of them are wearing helmets.

Well, it certainly is a dress of black and lace. Love the flowers in the hat. Lovely.

Yes, these the hay bales of minions from Despicable Me. There are a lot of minion scarecrows out there. This among the most creative.

But I’m not sure if lounging in a swimsuit is ideal for fall weather. Also, her skin seems to be made from burlap.

Well, she seems to have quite the variety. Not sure people wear flowery aprons anymore. But it adds a nice touch.

Well, he seems to have a rake head decked with sunflowers. Must have a rather sunny disposition.

Not a fan of polka dots, but she does seem to rock the outfit without being tacky. Like the flowers in her hair, too.

I think this was for a town scarecrow contest. But I love how these ladies are wearing bright colored dresses. And how one of them sits on the hay bale.

Seems like they didn’t have the time and the energy to have shepherds, livestock, and wise men. but you have to like the fall display though.

That’s a very good Willie Nelson scarecrow. The braids are excellent. Brilliant.

Yeah, Carmen Miranda seems to be widely imitated. But a lot of people don’t know what she actually sang.

That has to be a very easy scarecrow to make. I mean you just need a haystack, hat, and sunglasses.

And it seems that Ariel isn’t in her trademark seashell bra. Still, wish I can find other Disney scarecrows.

However, the hair doesn’t exactly look right on this. Because Harry has black hair, not straw colored. But seems like whoever made this didn’t have the time.

This especially goes for a scarecrow dog. Because crows are more likely to be scared of them.

Yes, you read that right. That’s a gorilla scarecrow. And it probably consists of a gorilla suit with straw.

Unfortunately, he may not be able to survive the flames since most scarecrows are extremely flammable. This was made by a town fire department.

Sure he may be in normal clothes. But so are a lot of conductors at rehearsal. Fits in with the garden look though.

Well, the crow is just incredibly large in this rendition. But you have to wonder how someone could do this.

Yes, the kind of band that makes country western bands seem less hickish in comparison. Still, it’s pretty funny and clever.

Bigger and tanner than a regular chicken. But doesn’t have much meat despite appearances.

My guess is that it’s a little straw terrier. Not sure what it has in its mouth which might be toilet paper.

He’s even sporting a pumpkin plumber’s butt to boot. Yeah, really needs to aim for the toilet bowl.

Well, a beekeeper scarecrow, how original. Even has bees to go with it. Awesome.

Now he’s hanging from the roof in his parachute. Must be WWII blitz inspired.

Yes, it looks quite unusual if you ask me. But you might see a few at a scarecrow festival or two.

Now it’s on to the crafts which I have more enjoyment compiling on this blog than the merchandise. Mostly because the craft projects seem more creative to look at and I don’t have to see a lot of stuff that might make me cringe. Then again, you might’ve noticed why some NFL teams might appear on these posts than others. Well, the map might provide a reason for that. As you see here, some NFL teams might have larger fan bases either due to geography, population shifts, or what not. Geography is usually a dominating factor as seen by the map. But you might notice that some teams tend to have fans well beyond their geographic range. This might be due to some fans moving to different places, the brand of the team, or other mitigating factors. It’s complicated. Nevertheless, it does explain why I’m bound to find so many craft projects inspired by the Dallas Cowboys and barely any relating to the New York Jets on Pinterest. So before the first NFL games of the season, I give you another treasure trove of NFL craft projects that aren’t licensed by the NFL and are probably less expensive to make anyway.

This Denver Broncos apothecary jar is great for storing candy.

Sure the candy may be red. But the colors certainly embody the Broncos’ mile high spirit.

2. This stained glass decanter is just perfect for anyone who supports the Baltimore Ravens.

This is especially when one’s anticipating that their team will have as shitty season as last year like the Ravens did. Still, the design is quite ornate.

3. Light up a room with this Pittsburgh Steeler glass block.

Just an old window glass block with a light bulb in it to spread out the light. Is topped off with a black and gold ribbon.

4. Show the Atlanta Falcons are the pride of Georgia with this wooden pallet.

Though my relatives from Georgia might beg to differ. Still, this is a rather artistic design Falcons fans would love to have.

5. Lounge around outside this season with a San Francisco 49ers lawn chair.

Another wooden masterpiece. Just a lawn chair painted with colors belonging to the 49ers which fans might want to have.

6. Any female Ravens fan would just love to have these feathered earrings.

Yes, they’re certainly fitting for a team with a black bird mascot. But this does not mean they’d go well on just about anything.

7. A wreath supporting the Cincinnati Bengals always has to be striped.

At least it doesn’t look as bad as the teams uniforms. Like the orange ribbon on this.

Well, blue and white buttons anyway. But if you decide to do so, always use buttons of different sizes.

This is a mostly white and silver one with the trademark navy blue Dallas stars. Quite magnificent if you ask me.

10. This bauble wreath would look great on any door of an Indianapolis Colts fan.

But remember to handle this with care. Because baubles are rather delicate things that can easily break when dropped. Keep that in mind.

Yes, this little guy is made of cloth and donning the black and gold. So adorable.

Each are made of some stone with the Dallas Cowboy star on them. And they’re all tied in a ribbon when not in use.

It even has a gold “Steelers Country” panel and gold ribbon. Also lights up.

Of course, we all know this kind of glass isn’t for drinking. Then again, it’s not like the Jaguars are known for being a winning football team, anyway.

So I’m down with fan costumes and merchandise. Now it’s on to college sport craft projects. You might’ve noticed that unlike the NFL craft post, I didn’t include a picture of myself. Mostly because I don’t have any college sport craft projects so I decided to go with the college football fan map instead. I figured since college football season is soon to begin next week. And if I decide to go with a craft post during March Madness, I’ll use a basketball one. Anyway, you may not think that sports and crafts go together if you haven’t been on Pinterest or Etsy. Yet, even though more men like sports and women do crafts, understand that there are plenty of female sports fans out there as well a guys who do crafts. Then there are college athletes like famed Penn State football player Rosie Grier who later played for the LA Rams and took up needlepoint as a hobby. If you look on Pinterest, you’ll find a lot more sports team crafts on there than you can imagine. However, when it came to looking for craft projects in college sports, it’s a bit tricky. Along with the merchandise, I had to google names of several different colleges to find them. Because if you just type anything relating to college sports crafts, you’ll just end up finding stuff mostly from Alabama and LSU trust me. So for your reading pleasure, I give you a treasure trove of the unique craft projects of college sports. Most of the craft projects featured will be representative of Division I teams, naturally.

Of course, these glasses are never for drinking. But I’m sure Iowa fans would want one anyway.

I’ve put a lot of these in various craft posts. But this seems to only require a flower pot and a fish bowl as far as I’m concerned.

The Tiled World of Mosaics

While stained glass has been around for over 1000, mosaics have existed even longer. Much longer. The first known mosaics date to the 3rd millennium BCE in Ancient Mesopotamia. They have been found in Ancient Greece and Rome as well as in early and medieval Christian churches around the Mediterranean. Not only that, but they have been used in early mosques in the Middle East during the early days of Islam as well as in medieval synagogues. And they have decked floors, walls, and ceilings. While stained glass only uses colored glass to create pictures, mosaics can use anything from stone, glass, ceramic, or other materials. But these are usually carved into very small pieces and different colors known as tesserae (a term you might’ve heard regarding welfare supplements in the Hunger Games which families receive in exchange for their kids entering their name into the Reaping multiple times). And while the default use of mosaics was mostly floor decoration, they can also be used on walls and ceilings. Hell, they can even be on 3-dimensional objects, too. But I’m sure this isn’t a craft for patient minds or hands. Yet, it’s not uncommon for people to do mosaics with photographs as well. However, in this post photo mosaics aren’t really the focus here. So for your reading pleasure, I give you a look into the world of mosaic art.

We’ll start with a bouquet of roses.

Well, a ceramic image of roses to be exact. Seems like all these pieces are cut in just the right way.

However, I wonder how her hair is up like that. Or whether the butterflies are getting in her hair.

Sure it’s only for a decorative purpose. But it surely looks grand even if you can’t use it.

Guess mosaic art can be successfully applied to lawn fixtures. However, I’m sure the mosaic bird baths won’t retain their colorful splendor for long.

Doesn’t hurt if such mosaic uses bright colors either. However, you might want to place coasters on it before you set your drink.

This sure looks pretty. Love the bright colors. Not sure what it’s supposed to look like.

Well, it’s actually a tiled tree against a mirror background. But it seems to go well with the style.

This one uses some of those glass stones and flower pieces. All in all, makes a great tile display.

Not sure if I’d want a mosaic table exposed outdoors. But I really love the colors on this one, especially the purple.

It’s all made in a bunch of tiny pieces, too. Also has a golden touch to it.

This one seems to depict someone inside looking out into a seaside town. You can almost think it’s a painting.

Both sides seem to have different themes to it. Yet both seem to be so artistically well done.

Yes, this is an owl mosaic close up. Yet, those bright yellow eyes seem so intimidating.

Yes, mosaic picture frames do exist. However, I especially like the little cups on this one. So clever.

Mirror frames can also have mosaics on them. Hut this one has only a small one.

Well, I’ve never seen such an ornate tiger like that before. And in multiple colored stripes, too.

Well, she has her hair multiple colors. But mainly green. The gold strand stands out though.

30. How about some poppies among a scene of black?

Of course, you don’t want to come across a cultivated poppy field in Afghanistan. Because you should know what those poppies are for.

Yes, it’s another mosaic chair. But this is in a very different style than the last one. And it has a few hearts to it.

32. A circle surface should take a circular design.

Of course, a lot of mosaics use geometric designs like the stained glass windows. But I like this one especially due to the purple center.

33. It’s not every day you come across a blue tiled shell.

This one is covered in ceramic tiles and beads. At any rate, it must be either a large shell or one that has very small pieces.

Mostly because it’s covered in mirrors. But I wouldn’t mind having that in my house.

I really like this one since the mosaic has so many tiles with very bright colors. Also how it reflects off the light.

And this one seems to go with the decor quite nicely. Kind of seems more like an antique than it actually is. But has a certain something to it.

As with stained glass, you see a lot of ocean mosaics on Pinterest. This one is one of the better ones.

Well, this one surely has a lot of loud colors to it. But the shapes sure seem stunning.

Well, it seems to have a frightened expression. Yet, it seems quite lifelike.

This one has quite a few designs on its wings. Not to mention, it’s meant to be put on display in a lawn.

Almost seems like an embroidery sampler. However, it’s probably made from glass and tile as I can see.

Not sure what this is supposed to be. But I like it. I especially like the fact it’s purple.

Well, it’s not exactly rainbow but close. However, I think it’s more suited for a bedroom than a bathroom. Just a thought.

Yes, this is the a mosaic version of the tacky lawn decoration we know and love. Bet this was made in Florida.

Well, as far as I’m concerned. Still, despite what you see in the garden store, birdbaths are disgusting.

Yes, these are lawn turtles with mosaic shells. And yes, each is a unique work of art in its own way.

76. This peacock surely has a lovely feather train.

I guess peacocks are popular to depict in mosaics as well. Nevertheless, looks like a fine bird.

Well, it’s in an Indian art style. But let’s say that despite their depictions as gentle giants, elephants aren’t animals you should mess with.

I think this might be copied from a painting. But I’m not sure. Yet, it looks kind of familiar.

However, I don’t think it’s comfortable to sit in. But I’ll put it in my mosaics post since it’s rather unique.

There are a lot of beach scene mosaics on Pinterest. But I think this is probably the best one.

Well, at least on the frame. Nevertheless, this is a very lovely design.

And what a stunning red fox it is. I think I might’ve saw one while on my walks years ago. But not sure when.

Then again, ceramic tiles tend to be in most bathrooms. Yet, this mosaic counter is probably not cheap in the least.

84. This mirror seems to reflect images all over the place.

Well, this is rather interesting. And it seems so finely made with very little color. Just mirror tiles.

85. This rainbow watering can pours like a charm.

Interesting how it always seems to be stuck like that. Then again, it’s a mosaic sculpture so it’s kind of intentional.

Well, a mosaic picture. However, it surely seems lifelike or from a painting. Not sure if that’s dead grass or wheat. Probably the latter.

87. A koi pond birdbath isn’t what you see every day.

Even more so if it contains rocks as an artistic touch. By the way, koi aren’t small fish at all.

Well, it’s a rainbow flower design. Each petal is a different color. Lovely.

Surely it’s a street scene mosaic. But it also seems like a painting to me, too. Wonder if it’s based off anything.

These are very lovely flowers. And you can have them all year round.

Now I know it’s not uncommon for bathrooms to have ocean themed decor. But this takes it to a new level, especially in mosaics.

Like how the mosaic on here accentuates the moon and the colors. So stunning.

Yes, this is a mosaic of the NYC World Trade Center Towers in the sunset. Of course, a lot of us know what happened to them.

94. I’m afraid this design is no flash in the pan.

Because if it was, the tiles wouldn’t be sticking. And I’m sure it’s not something you’d want to cook with.

95. The sun shines bright in this ocean view.

And in a sunset scene, too. Like how the sun is reflecting on the water. So lovely.

96. Now that’s the most colorful kiln I’ve ever seen.

This one has a lot of swirly colors. Wonder what pottery and ceramics get baked there.

This one seems like you’re right in the coral reef. However, fish might want to be careful around those dolphins.

Well, This peace sign surely stands out. Like how it’s emanated like the sun.

99. This clock is finely tiled for any fireplace mantle.

Normally I wouldn’t say maroon and teal go together. But I think both colors give a distinctive feel on this clock.

Sure it’s a stained glass mosaic. But I said the two tend to go together. Also, you have to admire the butterflies on this.

Stained glass has had a 1,000 year history though throughout most of it, it was used for windows in churches (like the awesome medieval Gothic cathedrals in Europe that still stand to this day), mosques, and other significant buildings. In many ways, this makes a lot of sense since before the days of sheet glass production, glass was expensive as hell since it took a long time to make. Many buildings usually went without them. In fact, during American colonization, it was very common for many families to take their glass windows with them on the boat. Not to mention, it’s not an easy material to transport since it’s quite breakable. So you imagine how Washington and Jefferson had it when they’re building Mount Vernon and Monticello. Nevertheless, many of these large stained glass windows you see in medieval cathedrals have withstood the test of time as a form of pictoral art. Contrary to what you see in movies on the Middle Ages, walk into a Gothic cathedral during the day and you’ll find yourself in a very illuminated place with color. After all, medieval folks didn’t have access to great lighting so these magnificent cathedrals were built with large windows so it can be the brightest indoor space around. Stained glass designs can feature either abstract or figurative themes such as figures and scenes from the Bible or literature, representations of saints, or symbolic motifs. Stained glass windows within a building may also be thematic such as a church depicting scenes of the life of Christ, a mosque depicting geometrics, constituencies’ shields in a parliamentary building, figures representing the arts and sciences within a college, or images of flora, fauna, and landscapes within a home. Today, while windows continue to be the dominant work of stained glass, it can also be seen as decoration as well as as 3 dimensional objects like lamps. In fact, Charles Tiffany became very rich and famous for his stained glass lamps from the Art Nouveau period. So much so that when you look at such a lamp, you’d almost think it’s designed by him. It’s also widely used as a craft as I’ve seen a lot of stained glass panels on Pinterest or Etsy. Then you’ve seen a lot of stained glass integrated in wind chimes and suncatchers for good reason. So for your reading pleasure, I give you a treasure trove of stained glass art.

A heron always looks great near the front door.

I know this isn’t a Great Blue Heron since it has dark blue feathers. Not sure when this was made either because it seems quite stylized.

This one depicts a stream with flowers and trees. And in a rather abstract style, too.

3. A glass star looks great with blue.

Yes, you’re going to see more like these, too. Love the glass star and the blue swirls.

4. Flowers near your window? How about flowers on your window?

At least these flowers won’t wilt after a couple of weeks. Still, these are so beautiful.

5. Perhaps a landscape may cheer you up.

Here’s another stained glass landscape. This depicts a mountain scene. Love the blue lake and sky.

Okay, he seems like he’s skating. But he’s quite endearing as always.

7. If you love penguins, then this glass panel answers your prayers.

Seems like it could depict a scene from March of the Penguins. With the Morgan Freeman voiceover, this would be perfect.

8. As a practicing Catholic, I tend to be a sucker for stained glass religious imagery.

Well, I have to put some religious stuff on here. This window depicts Christ on the cross. And it’s an example of a stained glass masterpiece.

9. Never seen such a colored swordfish before.

You tend to see a lot of sea stuff on these windows as well. But the marlin jumping out of the water is sure a majestic sight.

10. This one has a Spanish church on the seashore.

I guess the Spanish church is on here because it looks great in the scene. Like the sun in this.

11. Looks like a couple of bears are roasting marshmallows at the campfire.

I know Smokey the Bear might not approve of this. But I think it’s cute, especially since it has an adult bear and cub.

12. A stained glass sculpture can always stand out in the sun.

This looks pretty huge. Look closer and you can see a face in the details.

13. Guess this one has a lovely decorated skull.

This seems like a Southwestern or Mexican stained glass panel. Possibly for Dia de la Muertos.

This is one a little 3-dimensional since the butterflies have raised wings. Love the flowers, too.

15. There’s nothing like seeing the hummingbirds pollinate the flowers.

Sure some people may have hummingbird feeders (like my mom). But these hummingbirds drinking nectar as nature intended.

16. With this stained glass panel, you can look under the sea.

I think the fish should be wary of the dolphin. But this is a beautiful work of art. Love the blue sea.

17. On this panel, you’ll come across a magnificent dark horse.

This seems to take a more mosaic look. But it’s nevertheless lovely.

18. How about a some windows like your bookshelf?

I have to admit, this is very ingenious. Like how the books are different colors.

19. This white tiger really looks magnificent.

Not sure about the stripes being pink. And I don’t think the tiger looks very happy.

20. How about some flowers around your mirror?

Yes, these are stained glass flowers. And they only have a decorative purpose in this case.

21. This killer whale would certainly shine in a circle.

Like I said, stained glass ocean scenes are a thing. And orcas sure are popular.

Seems like the blue jay is only a small part of this panel. But the flowers are pretty.

23. It’s always lovely to see a cardinal on the ledge.

Like ocean life, birds are another popular stained glass motif. The northern cardinal and other backyard birds especially.

24. This stained glass panel is always, “Semper Fi.”

Yes, this is one for the US Marine Corps. Not sure if there are ones for the other military branches. Probably.

25. Get a load of this flowery lamp.

Yes, that’s a stained glass lamp all right. And on a stained glass table, too. Not sure if it’s a Tiffany though.

26. Some blue violets for the window?

I guess the owners don't use the fireplace very often. Wouldn't want to see anything happen to this. Because it's so lovely.

The flowers on this are certainly exquisite. Guess this is for decorative purposes only though.

27. How about something more geometric?

Geometric designs are also popular for stained glass windows. They’re also not as difficult to produce either.

28. This heart of butterflies is something you’re bound to love.

And here this woman stands proud at her creation, I guess. Still, this is so pretty.

29. These 3 panels boast really colorful flowers.

I’m sure this is used as porch decoration. But the flowers stand out in bright colors.

30. Sometimes you can use some blue glass lighting.

Well, the style seems a bit unconventional. But you can’t go wrong with the color.

31. A glass totem will look great anywhere.

I guess this is the kind of art that comes from the Pacific Northwest. Not sure if like the color scheme though.

32. I’m sure a peacock has a beauty beyond compare.

Because peacocks have a large flower train display they use to attract mates. Like the flowers on here, too.

Didn’t know they made stained glass displays in snowshoes. Guess they’re for decoration, then.

I guess this is inlaid into a tree trunk slice. Still, the raccoons are so adorable.

Well, autumn leaves are pretty on the trees. But the autumn display doesn’t last long though.

37. Guess you call that a rainbow surrounding a black center.

Wonder if that’s supposed to be a solar eclipse or something. Might make some sense.

38. This panel seems to be bursting with flowers.

Now this is certainly the kind of Art Nouveau style you might see on old mansions. This one has a spring theme.

39. Wonder what this is supposed to be.

This is art based on Northwest Coast Native American legend. Not something from Lovecraft, but I see your point.

40. This stained glass lamp sports radiant purple flowers.

Now this is an example of what you might see in a Tiffany lamp. However, I’m not completely sure if this is one. But I have a good idea.

41. What you see through this window is pure fantasy.

I guess I was right with that. Still, you’ll have to look closer to get the idea. Beautiful though.

42. Seems like the shepherds have a couple unexpected visitors.

This one depicts angels appearing to the shepherds and announcing the birth of Christ. It’s in Luke’s Gospel. But I don’t think this window was used for a church.

43. This geometric panel has a cross in the center.

Not sure on what to make out of these geometric ones. On one hand, they look cool. But on the other hand, they just consist of a bunch of shapes.

44. Take a look at this stained glass bison from the open range.

In North America, they’re also seen as “buffalo” by the way. However, you have to love this bison’s expression.

45. Never came across a white palm tree in the sand.

Beach scenes are fairly common stained glass motifs for some reason. Not sure why.

46. This panel seems to depict a big arrowhead.

I think this style might be Southwest inspired. But I’m not sure. But I do love the colors on this.

47. This penguin family will melt your heart.

I know this is my second penguin one on this post. But I know people will find this irresistibly adorable.

Sure this might be a mosaic piece. But a lot of mosaics use glass for obvious reasons.

49. From window, you can see 4 kinds of birds.

Consists of a Northern Bluebird, a Chickadee, a Goldfinch, and a Northern Cardinal. All these are North American birds.

Here’s another church window. But this one seems to be made in the Renaissance at least. But you have to appreciate the detail.

Mostly because they’re encased in stained glass. Love the colors though.

Because a lot of these are depicted in Catholic churches. Yet, not this well though.

This one even looks great in the light. Of course, I don’t think this was easy to pull off. But it’s worth seeing.

Well, look no further than these cabinet doors. And yes, they’ll probably put your furniture to shame.

This lamp of roses is for the overhead. However, not sure if it fits in a kitchen though. Dining room, maybe.

You have to admire the colors on this one. Seems to use a lot of blues and whites for a snow capped look.

I don’t think these guitars are for playing since they light up and are made of glass. But I couldn’t pass these up.

Some church windows might have a lot of abstract imagery like this one. However, the symbols on this one are hard to see from this photo.

Well, this is a very well known biblical scene in the gospels. Still, I know this wasn’t made for a medieval cathedral.

Yes, this is another forest scene. But this one makes you feel like you’re in the forest. That’s different.

73. Here we come across the Queen of the Nile, Cleopatra.

Because who else is depicted like she’s way too overdressed for Ancient Egypt? Also, there might be a pyramid in the background.

74. This dove has come across a grapevine.

Christian symbolism might be at work there. However, what’s with the ivy leaves? Because I don’t know if grape leaves look like that.

75. In these folding doors you’ll find a tree.

And there’s the tree encased in stained glass. Seems to be very wide.

76. Nothing like a mountain view on a country road.

With an orange sky, this has to be a mountain sunset. And I see a fence near the dirt path, too.

77. Some might appreciate a view of a sunset on the beach.

Yes, a stained glass sunset on the beach. Notice how the sky is in yellow, orange, and purple.

Not sure if these birds would hang out together in real life. But this makes a nice window to look at.

I think this might be a rocky seashore scene. But the flowers on the vine get more attention and add to the color.

Well, within a body of water, of course. Hope they have enough soil to spare.

Because the trees are covered in snow. Then again, it might just be another night scene.

83. From a mountain, out sprouts a stream.

Yes, that’s a view of a mountain stream. And it’s somewhat seems like a painting for some reason.

Wonder if she’s a nymph or something. Because I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

85. This lamp is covered with branches and chickadees.

Well, this is a tall lamp that has stained glass on it. But it’s a cool lamp nonetheless.

86. If you like the American Southwest, this panel is for you.

This depicts a longhorn with Indian feathers on a desert scene. You can’t get more Southwest than that.

87. For homey types, this winter house near a bridge is perfect.

Or is it a barn? Because it looks pretty big. Then again, I don’t think it matters.

88. In this window, you’ll see a great colossus.

This is definitely something you’ll find in some rich person’s house. That’s for sure. Have to admire the detail.

89. These two dolphins will greet you at the door.

Well they’re in the door. But they’re sure to delight visitors. So cute.

90. These stained glass flowers look perfect in any window.

And you don’t have worry about watering them or wilting after a few weeks. Because they’re made of glass. But be careful around them, though.

But there are some people who wish Canadian geese won’t mate at all. Because they can be a nuisance.

A moose on the road, on the other hand, is a traffic hazard to avoid. Because moose are said to kill more people than bears.

96. For yuletide joy, this snowman lamp is a delight.

I know it’s a Christmas one. But the snowmen on this are so adorable. And most stained glass lamps usually have flowers and shapes on them.

Okay, it’s an elk. But elk are technically deer but bigger. And no, they’re not like Bambi. Neither are deer.

98. These windows have a lovely view of a violet field.

I think this might be for a mausoleum. But the light really shines through this. Like it.

This woman seems to be in medieval dress. Or what the Victorians saw medieval dress as. Yet, it really stands out.

100. The woodpecker is on the shade while the lamp is its tree.

Another lamp I like. Love how the trunk is made to resemble wood. Wouldn’t mind owning this.
